Who are we?
The Giftware Association (The GA) is a national trade representative body and as THE only UK trade asssociation serving the gift and home industry. We recognise the remarkable talent and creativity of members ranging from retailers to suppliers, from high street brand names to designers and individual craftspeople and many others. Since 1947 the associations commitment has always been to help members “make money, save money and save time” by offering a wide selection of services.
How does The GA operate?
The GA provides representation in return for a subscription fee. The association offers many products and services, including design protection, networking, training, legal help, advice and support as well as a host of other money saving services. One of The GA’s main focus is as a representative body putting forward the collective view and position of our members, generally to government departments, agencies and regulators and also to the media and other opinion formers. The GA is a non-profit organisations with a governing body made up of elected representatives from the industry.
Our Members
The GA represents companies from across the gift and home industry – manufacturers, designers, wholesalers, importers, exporters, retailers (independents, multiples and online) - from sole traders to major plcs.
What can we do for you?
Whether you are a well established company or just starting out in business, The GA can save you money, represent your views and give you lots of information and promotion. We are an additional resource and many members use us as an “extra pair of hands” and a “sounding board.”
