PATIENTCHOICE
A relatively new style of product now available in the healthcare protection market - PatientChoice benefits, in general terms, rest somewhere between Private Medical Insurance and a Cash Plan in terms of cover and indeed affordability.
As a valued BJGF member CBG have secured you a discount of up to 10% on Standard PatientChoice rates. PatientChoice plans allow individuals, whom may not be able to afford comprehensive Private Medical Insurance, some protection and control over their health.
The aim of the contract is to provide monetary benefits, for defined medical procedures, in order to either purchase private treatment or, alternatively, cash benefits if the member elects to take treatment via the NHS. Whilst originally this type of product was generally linked to procedures requiring a form of anaesthetic, it is now possible to build in a limited amount of Out Patient benefit.
